Hi, I'm Kym Coco.
I absolutely love the game of golf. I was hooked from the moment my husband introduced me to it over a decade ago. I knew the sport was nuanced, so I got a coach. I practiced frequently. I also hooked up with a group of women who walked 18 each Sunday and were equally enthusiastic to improve. It didn’t take long for me to break 100, then 90. And within only a few years of playing occasionally, scored a 79 at Pacific Grove. I wrote The Flexible Golfer. My golf romance continued to blossom as I traversed the United States, playing courses from upstate New York, to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama to Bandon Dunes in Oregon. Then everything came to a halt when Steve got sick. Golf was put to the backburner as caring for him became a full-time gig. After Steve made his transition, I followed through on a commitment to myself: play 100 new golf courses to honor him and carve out a new path for my life. Within a few months of returning to the game, I broke 80 again at Whitehawk Ranch. It was more than the number on a scorecard that reignited my passion for the game. It was my ability to blend decades of work in sports kinesiology and yoga with the mental practices necessary to excel again on the course. Now I help other female golfers experience the same big breaththroughs. The 5-Phase Focused Golfer Program
Over the 6 weeks together, I’m going to give you the complete system for building rock-solid focus to enhance your game. The best news is this presence and inner calm under pressure ripples out into all areas of your life. You sink more than game-winning putts. You get more harmony in your relationships, more respect at work, greater satisfaction with your family, and better energy through it all! In this program, I share the exact tools I use daily for success--both on and off of the course. Here is the simple 5-phase blueprint of The Focused Golfer:
PHASE 1: STEADY ALIGNMENT
The right coordination of the lower body, hips, core and hands directly influence how you make contact with the ball. That’s outer alignment. But what about the teamwork between the mind and body?
In this phase, we remove blocks to your inner alignment. Then we open communication between supportive thoughts and your body’s wisdom. This creates consistency and confidence with the dynamic swing that is already inside of you.

When can I start?
That depends on when you apply and how many spots are currently open. See my updated availability at the top of this page. If we turn out to be a good fit, you’ll secure the next available start date with a deposit. All new clients start at the beginning of each month.
How long are coaching sessions?
Each session is a highly-engaged 60 minutes.
- Before the session, you’ll fill out a quick check-in form so I know what’s up
- Then we’ll dive right into your top 1-3 challenges so you can get clarity
- You’ll leave with a game plan of what to take action on before the next call
Do you work with all skill levels?
Absolutely. Whether you’re a newer golfer eager to start strong or a seasoned player ready to uplevel your game, this tailored approach means we can address your specific goals and needs, making it beneficial for anyone looking to improve their game.
What are the payment options?
The investment is $5000 for a 6-month capsule or $3000 for 3 months. You secure your spot with a $500 deposit. Then you pay the remainder prior to your start date.
What does "unlimited" support mean?
Between sessions, you can reach out as often you need to for questions, updates, or feedback on your progress. This is best done in two ways. The first is direct email access. (I just ask that you send one email at a time) I'll respond within 1-2 business days. This allows us to give each topic our full attention while maintaining healthy boundaries. If you want more immediate feedback, or to share a win during your round, you can also reach me via the Marco Polo app.
How does this program differ from traditional golf coaching?
Unlike traditional coaching which focuses exclusively on technical skills, the Focused Golfer emphasizes the mental and emotional aspects of golf. We combine practical techniques with honest accountability. This ensures you're not just improving your skills but also having more fun as you progress. Think less stress during play and a calmer, kinder you when you’re done.
What kind of mindset strategies will we cover?
We’ll work on skills to manage anxiety, develop focus, maximize your energy, and turn your inner critic into your greatest coach. Plus, we dissect the patterns and beliefs that drive your behaviors on the course. These mindset strategies can do far more than improve your game. They allow you to thrive in other areas of your life as a result.
Do you offer guarantees or refunds?
The short answer is, no. I can’t offer guarantees because your results ultimately depend on you. I’m not the one utilizing the plan we put in place. I find that promises of longer driving distances or lowered handicaps are similar to an offer for beachfront property in Arizona. Think red flag, and time to reconsider. That being said, many clients often break through a frustrating plateau of performance quickly–sometimes in a single round, a strong month, or a few prize-winning tournaments. Others take longer. It just depends on your skills, time actually playing, and level of follow-through. That’s why you fill out an application, and talk with me, before signing up. If we’re not a fit, I’ll point you in a different direction. It doesn’t serve either of us to move forward unless you succeed in this framework. As for refunds, I don’t offer them. Coaching is a collaborative process. This isn’t a course you can return. Once we’ve had conversations and I’ve shared my recommendations, there’s no way to “un-deliver” the value.
What happens when the program ends?
You might feel complete after one round, and that’s amazing! You also have the option of booking another 3- or 6-month engagement. You’ll know what you want when that time comes.
Will you offer The Focused Golfer again this year?
Before I answer this question, I have one for you: Why would you want to wait? You’ve likely spent years playing the game and you watch other golfers all around you make incredible improvements. You’ve got the skills and the passion. Are you waiting for more time on your calendar? Trying to figure other life elements out first? Or waiting to simply give yourself permission to shine?
If waiting still seems like the right decision for you now, I will offer the Focused Golfer at least once more in 2026 (at a higher price point).
